Terms and Conditions

SUBSCRIPTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Subscription Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) constitute the formal agreement between Switch Internet Services Co. (“we” or “us”) and you, the subscriber.

  1. Switch Internet Services Co. provides a Fiber to The Home (FTTH) Internet connection with a minimum guaranteed speed of 50% and a service reliability of 90%.

  2. The subscriber must agree to pay an installation service fee of ₱500 and acknowledge the TWELVE (12) MONTHS LOCK-IN PERIOD.

  3. (Applicable only during the promo period) The subscriber must be informed that the installation fee of Php 500 is waived and must acknowledge the TWELVE (12) MONTHS-LOCK-IN-PERIOD.
  4. Failure to comply with the lock-in period will result in an Early Termination Fee. This fee will be calculated based on the remaining months of the contract multiplied by the monthly rate, in addition to the remaining cost of the equipment.

  5. The subscriber is required to make payments on or before the due date, which falls on the 30th of each month. As a reminder, seven (7) days prior to the due date which is every 23rd of the month, you will receive a Statement of Account (SOA) indicating your account bill. In the event that you are unable to settle the payment by the due date, you will receive an “Overdue Notice” through text message on your provided contact number, accompanied by a “Disconnection Notice” (indicating your account’s potential disconnection/termination). You will then have an additional seven (7) days to settle your bill. After seven consecutive days without any necessary action, your connection will be automatically DISCONNECTED.

  6. Network enabling devices such as modem routers and other switches are NOT included in the payment, they must remain properties of Switch Internet Service Co. These devices must be surrendered at the end of your contract term. Furthermore, in the case of disconnected subscribers after one (1) week, Switch Fiber retains the right to retrieve ALL materials and other peripherals following the disconnection.

  7. The subscriber is expressly PROHIBITED from tampering with any Switch Fiber-provided equipment and services without prior consent. We reserve the right to terminate your account/service if we determine that you have failed to adhere to or comply with this provision.

  8. The reconnection fee for pulled out subscribers will have a service charge of ₱300.00.
  9. There will be a service charge of ₱150.00 for a modem that has been reset.
  10. There will be a penalty for any damaged equipment that are properties of Switch Internet Services Co.
  11. The subscriber is NOT ALLOWED to resell bandwidth, the backend system will automatically ban the detected resellers which will result in disconnection and pull out of the equipment.
  • LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Switch Fiber assumes no responsibility for, and shall not be liable for, any damages to your computer, telecommunication equipment, or other property resulting from your access to, use of, or browsing this website, or from the download of any information or materials from this website. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to the site or services, as the operation of the site may be affected by various factors beyond our control.

  • INDEMNITY: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Switch Fiber harmless from all liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, related to or arising from (a) your violation of any of these terms and conditions, (b) your violation of any third-party rights, and (c) any claim for damages that arises due to any user submission you provide to Switch Fiber.

  • PRIVACY: The subscriber is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account information, including the username and password combination, as well as the security of the network, system, and equipment. Any data or information transmitted over the internet may be susceptible to interception and alteration, and is subject to the Switch Internet Services Co. Privacy Policy.

 

  • EXCESSIVE USAGE: If the services availed specify bandwidth limitations for the subscriber’s user account, the use of the service must not exceed these limitations in order to protect Switch Fiber’s network resources and maintain service availability for other subscribers.

  • TRANSFER OF ACCOUNT: The subscriber is not authorized to transfer or assign their account to a third party without the prior written consent of Switch Fiber. 

  •  RELOCATION: The subscriber must call Switch Fiber’s hotline number to form a request or submit a written notice 2-3 days prior to the relocation date, this request will be subject for approval. Upon request, the subscriber is required to submit a new proof of billing. This process must be followed, otherwise the subscriber will not be entitled for a rebate.

    Relocation / transfer of service to a new address or location will have service charge of ₱300.00. Account status should have no delinquent and previous balance prior to accommodating the relocation request. Please prepare a valid ID for authentication purposes.
